Now Hiring - Guest Service Call Center Representative in Saint Louis, MO

Kennelwood Pet Resorts is looking for a Guest Service Call Center Representative to be a part of a growing industry leader pet care business. This role will support Kennelwood Pet Resorts through customer service and sales functions as the first point of contact for reservations, customer concerns, and generating additional sales. The goal in this position is to provide quality and efficient service to every customer by recognizing the needs and recommending Kennelwood Pet Resorts products and services.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure customer service call are answered in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
• Knowledgeable of all products and services offered
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and up-sell to customers
• Communicate with clients, guests, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner
• Handle and resolve customer complaints
• Identify and escalate priority issues
• Route calls to appropriate resource
• Follow up customer calls where necessary
• Handle payment transactions
• Data entry and maintenance of customer/potential customer data base
• High energy level

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs on occasion
• Ability to walk dogs of all sizes on leashes
• Comfortable working around pet hair and dander
• A passion for animals
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Previous experience in call center or multi-phone environment preferred
